Porter and Chester Institute welcomes new director of education, Eva Stein

April 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Rocky Hill, CT — Porter and Chester Institute (PCI) is excited to welcome Eva Stein as its new Vice President of Education.

Having started as an adjunct business instructor in the mid-1990s, Eva brings more than two decades of education experience and expertise in student services, community relations, online education and institutional operations.

Eva oversaw all national new school initiatives as the director for school planning with Kaplan Virtual Education, and was responsible for strategic planning and creation of the online division for Central Pennsylvania College. Most recently, she served as the institutional operational manager for Walden University of Laureate Education Inc., focusing on collaboration to support an enrollment of more than 50,000 students.

“With a commitment to lifelong learning, Eva's educational philosophies and experiences parallel those of our institutions in Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Her energy mirrors our focus on industry-modeled, high-quality, student-centered training and support,” said James Bologa, chief executive officer of Porter and Chester Institute, which acquired YTI Career Institute’s campuses in December 2013.

Eva’s personal education includes the United States Air Force's Officer School, a bachelor of science in management, a master of science in systems management, and a Ph.D. in education.
