BRACKNELL, U.K. - May 1, 2014 - PRLog -- New research by tha Uks medicial Research Council has shown that three simple tests can reveal with good accuracy how long you will live for. The sudy took part over more that 50 years, taking 500 subjects born in 1946 and then performing tthree tests on them. The subjects were than all followed until their death - althugh some of them are of course still going strong.

The three tests are standing up and sitting down in a chait (times over 1 minuts), balancing on one leg (times) and testing grip with a hand help grip dynamometer.

In the first test, those who could stand up and sit down 37 times (men) and 33 times (for women) in a minute stood a much higher chance of living well into their 80s. In the second those who fell down immediatly when trying to balance on one leg with their eyes closed were 12 times as likely to die in the next 13 years (ie from age 53-69) then those who did better on the test - this second group could balance for more than 10 seconds and were in with a good chance of living long healthy lives.
