“Summer heralds the start of the yatra season and for this summer, we have organized a wonderful and innovative Amarnath Yatra trip for pilgrims. We have designed the trip keeping safety and comfort of yatris in mind and they will receive the best of travel, accommodation and food during the yatra,” said a representative of Namaste India Trip.
Come summer and the Amarnath Shrine is thrown open to bhakts from all over India who flock in millions to have a darshan of the Ice Shivling, the only one of its kind in the world. The Shrine is at the end of the LidderValley at a height of 3888 meters. “We have made excellent arrangement for dolies and for ponies for those who find it difficult to walk. For senior citizens we also offer the option of a helicopter yatra, with the helicopter taking off from Panjtarni, about 5 km from the holy cave. Further, we have arrangements with the Shrine and when our yatris land there, they receive priority in darshan; there is no waiting in queues. They can fly in and out in a day.”
The starting point of the Amarnath Yatra is Srinagar. Those who wish to undertake the yatra must make their own travel arrangements to reach Srinagar. Here, all participants are welcomed by a Namaste India Trip representative and taken to their hotel. There are two routes to reach Amarnath. Yatris can opt for the pilgrimage that goes by way of Baltal, Sonamarg or they can choose to go by the Pahalgam route, about 96 kilometers from Srinagar. These two options have been included since many yatris are from outside the State and will wish to have a taste of Kashmir. They can enjoy the delights of Sonamarg or the lovely environs of Pahalgam either before proceeding to the Cave or on their return, making for an enriching, all round enjoyable experience.
Namaste India Trip offers superior accommodation throughout the trip and has arranged itineraries to help yatris enjoy each day of their stay, with comfortable accommodation in quality hotels at each place. Food preferences have also been taken care of and we make special note of specific food requests such as low salt diet, sugar-free diet or low fat diet for people with health issues, said the spokesman of the yatra organizer. “We are meticulous and take care of each minor point, down to the shoes and warm woolens for each participant so that they have a wonderful time and have nothing to complain about. We promise it will be one of the most memorable and delightful trips of their lives.”
