Junior AP Intermediate Examinations 2014 and Senior AP Intermediate Examinations 2014 were conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, AP (BIEAP) every year. This year around 10 Lakhs candidates had registered for the AP Intermediate First year exam 2014
The Andhra Pradesh board was established in the year 1971 and the headquarters for this educational board is located in the capital city of Hyderabad. This board of education conducts all school level examinations from class 1st to 12th. 12th class examinations play a very important role in the life of students. There are many schools and colleges affiliated under this board of education.
BIEAP regulates and supervises the system of Intermediate education. It executes and governs various activities that include devising of courses of study, prescribing syllabus, conducting examinations, granting affiliations to colleges and, providing direction, support and leadership for all educational institutions under its jurisdiction.
The Intermediate Public Examination is being conducted since 1978-79 both at the end of 1st year course and at the end of 2nd year course. Earlier the Public Examination was only at the end of 2nd year. The division in which the candidates are placed is decided on the basis of their passing all the papers in the 1st year and in the 2nd year.
