“Conejo Valley Days represents the area’s western spirit and reminds us of our roots,” says Jeppe, “It’s a part of our history. I’m honored that they chose me as the CVD grand marshal.” Jeppe represents the third generation of the family-owned furniture company, which opened in 1960 in Thousand Oaks. She remembers going to CVD as a child. “Our family was in the CVD parade as early as 1963. We entered a little float drawn by a pony,” she remembers.
The CVD Emporium will feature a photo booth complete with western and Victorian style clothing. Festivalgoers can dress up in the western clothes and have their pictures taken. Prior to CVD, Reeds will give away cowboy hats at Reeds Furniture (http://www.reedsfurniture.com/
