Angel GOTTI'S FLIP FLOP BEACH PARTY!

My dog, Darwin was my dearest friend and most loving companion. It was through her unconditional love that I found my way. She taught me about the importance of friendship and love... When I am asked to paint a portrait of someone's pet, I know that person is a kindred spirit.

Eric Ginsburg, Artist and Fridge Art Fair Founding Director

Fridge Art Fair is pleased to announce the participation of, Dorfman Projects, a prominent gallery in Chelsea and the Hamptons, as an exhibitor in the Fair. After being displaced by the DOB closure of Angel Orensanz Center on March 31, Fridge will be presented at 5-25 46th Avenue in Long Island City, one of New York's most vibrant art studio districts, thanks to major sponsorship by Plaxall Inc.

"When I met Fred Dorfman of Dorfman projects, we immediately connected," said artist and fair founder Eric Ginsburg, who is well known for his soulful, painterly portraits of dogs and cats. "We both share a love for animals and truly value them. This is why ARF, The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, commanded our attention and support. ARF provides shelter for homeless animals, keeping them safe and placing them in loving homes. Fred and I decided to team up and work together to help support their mission by donating portions of all proceeds for commissioned paintings to the fund to help them continue their amazing work."

Pet portraits are on display at Dorfman Projects at 529 West 20th Street in Chelsea and on May 8th through May 11th at Fridge Art Fair, where pets are welcome and the artist will photograph them for their portraits. There will also be paintings of ARF's adopted pets on view. Please contact Eliza or Fred of Dorfman Projects to commission a portrait of your best friend: fred@dorfmanprojects.com, info@dorfmanprojects.com. *
