TORONTO - April 25, 2014 - PRLog -- On Thursday, May 8, 2014, Canada’s premiere religious publisher, Novalis, will be hosting a book launch and signing at the Pontifical Institute for Mediaeval Studies Lounge in Toronto between 5:00pm and 7:00pm ET.

The book launch and signing is being hosted to promote the book John Paul II: A Saint for Canada written by Father Thomas Rosica, CSB. Copies of the book are available for purchase on the Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation web site.

“Blessed Pope John Paul II has been a source of inspiration for all of us, touching the hearts and minds of many people around the world” said Fr. Rosica. “John Paul II: A Saint for Canada is a testimony to the life of faith, hope and love, left behind by this holy man.”

In honour of Pope John Paul II's canonization, Fr. Rosica writes an account of the pope’s visits to Canada and lessons his life has to offer us as we continue in our journey of faith. It is a spiritual reflection on what his messages mean for us today and the impact he has made on Canada.

Novalis is the largest bilingual religious publisher in Canada. Founded in Ottawa in 1936 by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, it publishes many periodicals and books every year, primarily in the religious fields.
