PowerPhone’s Total Response® Call Handling Protocol Solution Deployed
By: Rogers County 911

CLAREMORE, Okla. - April 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Rogers County 911 has made a significant commitment in time, investment in training and deployment of Total Response to raise the standard of care for their community and create consistency on every call.

Rogers County 911 determined their process of call handling lacked the consistency needed to provide quality and structured life-sustaining instructions to their callers while emergency responders were on their way to the incident. They sought out PowerPhone’s Total Response solution to meet their needs.

“Rogers County has embraced the Total Response solution because of the need to support all disciplines including law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services, and integrate with our current dispatch system” said Janet Hamilton, Director of Rogers County 911 Dispatch Center.  “We have partnered with PowerPhone who has helped guide us to deploy a successful implementation.”

“Our goal has been to provide superior service through training, education, and call assessment to the residents of Rogers County. This PowerPhone training is just one of the many topics that the 911 operators benefit from.  The dedication and motivation of our staff to Total Response is exciting,” said Janet Hamilton. “Through this training and implementation, our dispatchers will continue to provide our responders scene-specific information even before they arrive, which will better help ensure their safety as well as people at the scene.”

“With the deployment of CACH® (Computer Aided Call Handling), a software component of Total Response, the level of service provided to callers, victims, and responders, is enhanced and streamlined. Call takers are now able to make a rapid assessment of risk and provide life-saving instructions,” said Deb King, an Implementation Manager with PowerPhone.  Deb was on-site this week to deliver Total Response training to the 911 staff.

Rogers County 911 and PowerPhone are looking forward to this relationship. PowerPhone’s Total Response system will empower the county’s public safety professionals to provide a higher, more consistent standard of care to best serve a population of over 88,000 citizens.
