Washington, DC is known for breeding some of the world’s most accomplished musicians of our time.  From Chuck Brown to Marvin Gaye, DC is proud of our music and our musicians.  Since 2007, Girls Rock! DC has worked tirelessly to help add more young female musicians to DC’s music history books. Annie Lipsitz, a member of the Girls Rock! DC leadership team shares her excitement about this year’s showcase. “We are really excited to have so many talented, local women performers play and support Girls Rock! DC. Everyone who is participating in this event - the performers, the audience members, and the volunteers - are helping Girls Rock! DC grow our community. They are directly supporting our 2014 Financial Aid Fund so more girls can stand up and rock out in our life-changing program this summer!”

Tickets for the show are now available online via the U Street Music Hall website (DIRECT LINK: http://www.ustreetmusichall.com/event/547921).  Ticket prices are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
