Nations gather to discuss next generation of Combat Engineering capabilities

 
CHELMSFORD, U.K. - April 24, 2014 - PRLog -- The role of the modern day military engineer is changing. The nature of current and predicted missions mean that forces need to be as flexible as possible whilst maintaining the ability to provide rapid, effective and global military and civil engineering support. Both military end users and suppliers need to work together to ensure force mobility is achieved without losing core capabilities.

Because of this ever-increasing need, on the 28th October 2014, over 300 delegates will attend the world’s largest Combat engineering related event in Germany with the aim of deciding upon the next actions to be taken in this ever changing and complex world.

The event, Combat Engineer 2014, which is an Inaugural event, willattract an audience consisting of the most senior and influential military engineers from every major nation.

The delegation will be discussing the very latest issues surrounding all aspects of military engineering including international Force restructure, EOD and C-IED, CIMIC projects and multinational co-operation along with recent technological innovations.

Combat Engineer 2014, organised by The Development Network, a well-known UK based conference organiser, will be seen as one of the most critical meeting points for nations wishing to decide upon the future of their Combat Engineer policies along with discussion based presentations focusing on key alliance policies such as NATO and the European Union.

High on the agenda at this year’s meeting will be the force restructures taking place throughout several nation and how Military Engineering capabilities have been essential in recent disaster relief operations.
