The Jackson Medal was first awarded in 1898 at the CTDA’s 18th Annual Convention in Buffalo, New York “For the Best Cut & Most Stylish Garment Shown” during its fashion show. However, since the 1960’s, the Jackson Medal has been handed down to the outgoing President of the CTDA, to be displayed in his or her place of business. Past President Christine Trager presented the medal to Brodeur.
The Jackson Medal will be on display at Brodeur Carvell, which is located in the Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers and offers fine custom clothing and ready-to-wear apparel for men and women, business and pleasure.
