Remax Beyond 2000 - Morne Prinsloo
There is a new star in the property market on the West Rand. Morne Prinsloo from RE/MAX Beyond 2000 was born and bred in Roodepoort and is in the true sense of the word a local boy.
He has more than eight years experience in the Financial Industry. He started as a bond originator and for the last two years worked as one of the upcoming real estate agents at RE/MAX.
Prinsloo’s skills as an excellent marketer and strong negotiator are well known throughout the Krugersdorp and Roodepoort areas.
In his own words: “Whether you have the smallest of units through to the largest of unique properties – I have the skills and access to technology to ensure your sale is successful. Furthermore I believe my job entails a partnership between the seller, buyer and the agent. Of course this is a total new outlook on the normal real estate transaction.”
Prinsloo says he goes the extra mile for his clients. “Service in real estate is not just about returning phone calls, not just about being on time and being around. You must be actively involved with your clients on a daily basis. Real estate is a people’s business and all clients must be treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Good service is the golden password.”
Prinsloo states that his aim is to deliver such a service to his clients that they will gladly refer him to family and friends. “I don’t judge my business on the number of sales but on the number of referrals I obtain.”
Prinsloo is certainly a man for all seasons and was already awarded with a Silver Club Award from RE/MAX in his first year of service.
The young Prinsloo started his career in finance at Absa Bank and later started his own bond originator business. There he specialized in first time buyers, bond switches, development finance; further home loans, commercial loans and building loans.
In January 2006 he started Mortgage Plus Bond Originator which since that time expanded rapidly. Morne’s passion for real estate and financial services compelled him to create a business with a strong service focus that is often lacking by other mortgage brokers and some of the major banks.
In July 2011 Morne won the Bond Originators – Broker IQ competition run by First National Bank in Johannesburg.
Prinsloo is very optimistic about the future of the house market on the West Rand, especially the quieter neighbourhoods as people tend to “escape” from the hustle and bustle of city life. He says the search for a more secure, tranquil lifestyle that offers a real escape from city life is further compounded by the cost of petrol and transport and the time taken up by travelling.
Prisnloo says while people are often happy to commute quite a distance to work, they do not want to travel far to schools and shopping centres.
