Pikasso learned at an early age that life was not always easy. Pikasso had to learn about becoming a man and what life really had to offer at an early age. At the age of 9, Pikasso started getting involved with various types of illegal activities all over the New Orleans area all while finding love for music. While still involved street activity at the age of 12 which is the age, Pikasso started writing rap lyrics and becoming a neighborhood superstar by freestyling with some of the older and local rappers from the neighborhood.
Pikasso met 2 rappers, Freak Nasty and Da Big Man aka PxMxWx formerly of Cash Money Records, the 2 rappers were very popular throughout Louisiana regional. Pikasso started spending time with Freak Nasty and Da Big Man while still attending school, Pikasso earned the reputation of the best rapper in all the neighborhood schools.
In 1993, Pikasso dropped out of school in the 10th grade, with school no longer an option for Pikasso, selling drugs and rapping became first priority. Pikasso was still associating with Da Big Man and Freak Nasty in 1995 when the young Pikasso became serious about making music but Pikasso went to jail for a year for several crimes causing minor career setbacks.
When Pikasso was released from jail, PxMxWx were no longer associated with Cash Money Records but the association between Pikasso, Freak Nasty and Big Man still remained.
