STAT Medical Systems Announces Automated BRS/100 Bioburden Sanitation System

PRLog - Apr. 23, 2014 - PALMETTO, Fla. -- Palmetto, Florida. – STAT Medical Systems, a Florida based specialist in medical equipment sanitation, has launched a fully automated system for cleaning and sanitation for reducing bioburden in medical and health care settings, achieving a level of microbial sanitation impossible with manual cleaning techniques. This level of sanitation greatly reduces the spread of biological contaminants from equipment to humans, a factor that could diminish staff downtime and legal repercussions in a medical setting.

The BRS/100, a completely enclosed and self-contained chamber, has multiple sanitation features that make it far advanced to manual cleaning. The BRS/100 features stainless steel construction and can accommodate a range of sizes of equipment, from IV poles, backboards and delivery carts to full size wheel chairs, stretchers and gurneys.  The combination of 140 degree pressurized water spray with specialized chemical disinfectants reduces equipment cleaning time by as much as 80%, with far more reliable microbial sanitation. In addition, the system automatically tracks and documents equipment sanitation procedures, meeting and exceeding all reporting requirements for regulatory agencies.
