Follow on Google News | American Society of Appraisers' Business Valuation Chairman To Teach, Promote Business ValuationThe American Society of Appraisers, along with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, are founding members of the International Institute of Business Valuers (IIBV), with international business valuation education being handled by the IIBV. Morrison, Managing Partner of Morrison Valuation & Forensic Services, in Orlando will travel more than 9,700 miles in May to Melbourne, Australia to teach two IIBV courses, Introduction of Business Valuation and International Cost of Capital, each spanning four days and including rigorous testing. These represent the first two courses in a four-course Principles of Valuation series that is part of the requirement to earn the prestigious Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation from ASA. In commenting on this opportunity, Morrison said, “ASA’s Australia Chapter has been at the forefront of providing educational and networking opportunities for local machinery and technical specialties valuers. In addition, he holds business degrees from the University of Central Florida and Miami University and is the current Chairman of the ASA's Business Valuation Committee and Vice-Chair Elect of the IIBV Board of Directors.
