Not mariachi, meringue, salsa, or Latin but instead an energetic sound that will win you over instantly. Nuno Dos Santos makes his first appearance in New York City with a curiosity for a fresh new crowd and their reaction to a crisp new cadency. We also bring you 3 artists that you might be familiar with at a venue you frequent quite often.

Nuno dos Santos is a highly creative mind. After being born in Portugal he was raised in The Netherlands. His DJ career has been gradually building to great heights with support by fellow Dutchman Joris Voorn and performances at Mysteryland, Lowlands and Awakenings. Nuno held his own parties in the legendary club 11 and is nowadays resident DJ in Trouw where he played with Laurent Garnier twice already. In 2013 Nuno started his own label Something Happening Somewhere (SoHaSo). A creative mind indeed.

Zenbi is no stranger to Cielo and neither is Brian Cid, both having played there twice this year. Brian also recently played with Hot Since 82 at Pacha and also in the basement at Sankeys in New York. Zenbi can be seen playing all over North America and Europe and recently also played the main floor at Pacha in New York.

A small and intimate venue, Cielo dons one of the best sound systems in New York. The crowd is always sexy and the staff is always friendly which has allowed it to be consistently ranked and featured as one of the best places to dance in New York City.
