Last month, Dammerman began providing his services to 12 new clients – more than any of the other 80+ Schooley Mitchell offices across North America. Dammerman operates in one of the smallest markets in the franchise system which makes the award even more remarkable.
“While I am honored to be recognized, the real reward will come with the cost-savings we achieve for these customers,” says Dammerman. “Montana is a fiscally conservative state, and we take pride in trimming costs and other waste.”
Along with the distinguished award, Dammerman was also recognized for identifying and halting fraudulent activity on a client’s wireless/cellular account. On April 16, he received an email notification stating one of his local clients had ordered new iPhones to be shipped to Massachusetts and Ohio.
The email immediately set off alarm bells for Dammerman, who knew the activity was suspicious.
“I quickly contacted the business owner, who told me that he certainly had not ordered new phones to be shipped around the country,” says Dammerman. “I contacted the wireless company and local police. By the time we had the account secured, three more attempts to order phones had occurred. We were able to nip this issue in the bud before the business experienced any negative impact or loss.”
