ATLANTA — April 23^th 2014. Don't miss being part of the 12th Annual Kirkwood Spring Fling & Blue Ribbon BBQ Contest. Celebrating the historic and eclectic in-town neighborhood of Kirkwood, this family-friendly Festival offers a fun-filled opportunity to enjoy the warmth of spring with a 5K, Artist Market, diverse line-up of live music, creative kids' activities, the Tour of Homes, and for the second year, a BBQ Cook Off Contest.  NOTE: This event will take place rain or shine.

WHEN:

Blue Ribbon BBQ Cook Off Contest: May 17^th
-       10am-11am: Set Up Time
-       11am:          Mandatory Head Cook Check in Meeting
-       11:30am:      Judging Begins (3 Judge Panel begins Tasting)
-       12:00 Noon:Public Tasting Begins w/purchase of $5 fork
-       4:00pm:        Clean Up – Over
-       5:00pm:        Winners Announcements
