Sixth Annual Month of Photography Los Angeles Group Exhibition Announced

LOS ANGELES - April 23, 2014 - PRLog -- The 6th Annual Month of Photography Los Angeles' Official Group Exhibition will feature an incredible collective of local and international artists including internationally acclaimed photographer Olivia Barrionuevo.

Highlights of the exhibition will include The Ancient Mexicans, a series by Los Angeles based artist Olivia Barrionuevo, which dives into an enigmatic exploration of ritualistic expressions and mysticism of the land's forefathers. “The imagery is simultaneously raw and evocative, yet alluringly pacifying in its shadow-cast narrative."  - Linda Dzhema, Co-Founder of MOPLA and Programs Director of the Lucie Foundation*

Works on exhibit will speak on the 2014 MOPLA theme: Communities and Cultures, and will explore traditional and non-traditional ideas of collectives, environments, traditions and lifestyles.

The exhibition will open in conjunction with the biannual Brewery Art Walk weekend, April 26-27, 2014
