Toughshield completes sales structure ready to meet growing demand for rugged devices

April 23, 2014 - PRLog -- European rugged enterprise device manufacturer finalises senior sales team in readiness to leverage rise of consumerisation

22nd April 2014, London, UK: Toughshield, the global provider of rugged mobile computers for business, today announces a new sales team structure spearheaded by the appointment of Merrick Edwards as CEO.

Edwards has been deeply involved with Toughshield, joining the business soon after its inception and playing an instrumental role in the growth of the business to date. He also orchestrated its successful distribution strategy, which is now firmly established.

Edwards commented: “I am thrilled to become the CEO of Toughshield. We will be launching a number of exciting new products later this year that will firmly establish Toughshield in the enterprise mobility space, complementing the R500+ rugged smartphone and the T700 rugged tablet.  We have built an experienced and dedicated organisation in preparation for this, as demonstrated by the senior appointments announced today.  It’s an exciting time to be taking the helm.”

In addition to Edward’s appointment, Toughshield’s regional sales director team has been finalised with the appointments of Michael Kreft as Sales Director Central Europe and Tal Weber as Sales Director Emerging Markets.

Kreft and Weber join the existing sales director team which includes Andy Lee (UK & Ireland), Jonas Folkesson (Nordics) and Arnaud Fessard (Southern Europe & North Africa).

The senior sales team will be supported by four further new hires. Helmut Will joins as Technical Account Manager Central Europe, Katarzyna Muszynska joins as Sales Manager Poland, Javier Perez joins as Sales Manager Iberia and Alain Segond von Banchet joins as Sales Representative Benelux.
