HIGHLAND, Utah - April 23, 2014 - PRLog -- As the NBA season continues to wind down through the post-season, the closer we get to finally seeing the Teal and Purple Charlotte Hornets back in the league. The Hornets name was used from 1988 up until 2002 - and eventually became the New Orleans Pelicans. After the brand identity being revealed earlier this season, excitement just could not be contained around the league, because of the well-loved teams was eventually going to make it's way back to professional basketball. Charlotte fans right now would be focused though on figuring out how to upset the defending champions, Miami Heat in the 2014 Playoffs. NEW ERA  plays a bit with this Hornets fitted as it comes in with the traditional Teal with Purple accents color scheme - the Hornets logo though is faced backwards, leaving an illusion that the character has his backed turned - and no it's not a joke! The logo at the back gets it right though, having the classic Hornet and ball facing the right way.
