St. Louis-Area IT Training Company Releases List of Most Popular IT Classes for 2013

ST. LOUIS - April 22, 2014 - PRLog -- St. Louis (MO)  — Each year ONLC Training Centers releases a list of their most popular Microsoft technical classes for the prior year. The data was collected from the company’s site in downtown St. Louis as well as classrooms in Creve Coeur and O’Fallon.

"Some of the results were predictable, but there were some surprises as well," said Andy Williamson, ONLC Training Centers' CEO.  "Coming in 1st place as the most popular class, for the fifth year in a row, was ‘Microsoft SQL Server Transact-SQL’. ‘Administering Systems Center 2012’ came in 2nd place.  This one was a surprise. It was up significantly from last year's 9th place showing," he continued.

The company has also added some new courses to their top list this year such as “Core Solutions of Microsoft in SharePoint Server 2013” (21st place on list) and “Core Solutions of Microsoft in Exchange Server 2013” (22nd place) as well as “Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3” (7th place).

The company's Top 10 is below:

1. Writing Queries Using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Transact-SQL

2. Administering Systems Center 2012 Configuration Manager

3. Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012

4. Implementing and Maintaining Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services

5. Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012

6. Introduction to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

7. Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3

"Because ONLC has so many locations we have a fairly good pulse on the market demand for these kinds of technical classes. In addition because we can combine enrollment from multiple locations we cancel less thats 5% of our classes," Williamson stated.
