Southport Indiana Independence Day Celebration

INDIANAPOLIS - April 22, 2014 - PRLog -- The City of Southport will once again be hosting a fun and exciting Independence Day Celebration along with the traditional Fourth of July Parade! Whether you’re a spectator or a participant, this popular patriotic event has something for everyone.

Watch the Parade
The parade starts at 10:30am and travels through the streets of Southport, ending at our fantastic park. This is a “must attend” event that friends, family, and neighbors will be talking about for weeks after. So bring your flag to wave, your loudest cheering voice, and join us for this exciting parade.

         Free hot dogs, chips, watermelon, & drinks

12:00-4:00 Games 20 free tickets (age 16 & under)

         Additional tickets: 4 for $1.00

1:30 Seed Spitting Contest

2:00 Sack Races

2:30 Water balloon toss

Parade Participation
If you or your group wishes to have an entry in the parade, this your opportunity to get yourself in front of your community. Build a float, decorate your car or bicycle, walk, skate, dance, or march. Create your own patriotic entry and join us for our best parade yet.
