Bistro Z Restaurant to Present Mother's Day Brunch "Fit for a Queen"

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. - April 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Bistro Z, the DoubleTree by Hilton Tarrytown’s popular, upscale modern bistro restaurant, will present a Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch that is fit for a queen and at very attractive family prices. It will be held from 11 AM to 3 PM, Sunday, May 11 at 455 South Broadway, Tarrytown, NY.

Mom and her entourage can enjoy an incredibly delicious feast prepared by Executive Chef Frank Troiano that includes a glass of champagne, omelet station, brunch selections, a raw bar, soups and crisp salads, specially-prepared entrees, a delectable dessert buffet and a kids buffet as well.

The wallet-friendly pricing is $38 for adults; $19 for young adults and free for kids under the age of age of eight. Tax and gratuity are additional.

Start at the omelet station for a delicious made-to-order omelet prepared either with fresh eggs, cholesterol-free Egg Beaters® or egg whites with a choice of shredded cheeses, mushrooms, bacon, ham, onions, tomatoes and red and green bell peppers. Continue to the brunch selections that include thick cut brioche French toast served with wild berry compote, baked egg and cheese torta and crisp bacon as well as sausage links, breakfast pastries, muffins, scones and coffee cakes.

The raw bar offers jumbo shrimp, oysters and clams with a traditional cocktail sauce or horseradish, mignonette or Tabasco® sauce.

The soup and salads station includes a selection of imported and domestic cheeses with aromatic honey and fig puree; dried fruit, pecans and walnuts; lavash, gourmet crackers, crusty breads and fresh baked rolls; bocconcini mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, crushed red pepper; green market fresh pasta salad, asparagus, spinach, edamame and arugula pesto; Asian greens, baby grapefruit, roasted cashews, crisp Wonton strips; miso ginger vinaigrette and a broccoli, potato and cheddar bisque.

Entrée selections are a carved New York strip with horseradish cream; roasted leg of lamb prepared with rosemary, garlic, spinach and pine nuts; pan seared chicken breast with a Peruvian sweet pepper relish; a tarragon glazed salmon filet with yellow beet and pea shoot salad; cheese tortellini; primavera vegetable; tomato mascarpone sauce and roasted zucchini and string beans.

The dessert buffet offerings include assorted cakes, pies and dessert shooters. The signature white and dark chocolate river dessert comprises fresh fruit, cookies, brownies, rice krispy treats, marshmallows and more.

Kids will enjoy chicken fingers with assorted dipping sauces, French fries, beef sliders, mac and cheese, Caesar salad and General Tso’s chicken.
