AWEA WINDPOWER Conference & Expo 2014

DALLAS - April 21, 2014 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS – The AWEA WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition 2014 will be held in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, May 5-8, 2014. Shermco Marketing Director Kevin Alewine, will open this year’s event with program co-chair Jayshree Desai of Clean Line Energy Partners with a “Welcome & Opening” general session at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 6^th in the Mandalay Bay Ballroom.

The conference is hosted by the American Wind Energy Association and is entitled Transformation In Motion this year. Alewine says the conference title sums up the event’s many benefits, as all the resources have been aligned to deliver an event that promotes wind energy industry transformation through experience, knowledge and collaboration.

“This conference is always the premiere event for wind energy professionals to converge and generate workable ideas for expanding the renewable energy sector and this year is no exception,” said Alewine.  “We have a powerful lineup of industry experts for our technical sessions and other educational events. Alewine will also present a session on May 8^th in the Reef E Room entitled Innovation in Remanufacturing of Generators, and Shermco Industries is sponsoring the opening night reception at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay from 5 – 7p.m. on Monday night.
