Jennah Purk, CPA, Purk & Associates, P.C., Elected to 2014-15 NAWBO National Board

April 21, 2014 - PRLog -- April 21, 2014 (St. Louis) – Jennah Purk, CPA, MST, president and co-founding shareholder of Purk & Associates, P.C., the leading independently owned St. Louis-based accounting and management advisory firm, was recently elected to the 2014-15 NAWBO National Board as a member at large.

Purk is the current president of the NAWBO Greater St. Louis chapter. She and her husband Bill were named the 2014 SBA Small Business Person / Team of the Year for Eastern Missouri.

She serves on the public boards of St. Louis Bank and Healthcare Marketing Associates.  She is currently serving the second year of a 3-year-term to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Region VII Small Business Regulatory Fairness Board. Jennah is the Finance Chairperson of the St .Louis Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), a member of the Women President’s Organization (WPO), and a member of the St. Louis Forum.  She is a past recipient of the St. Louis Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” and a FOCUS Leadership St. Louis Program 2008 graduate.

She is a frequent guest speaker at St. Louis Community College, Justine Petersen, a St. Louis-based nonprofit that connects low and moderate income individuals with the tools needed to access safe and affordable credit for personal use and small business, and many other accounting and business-related groups.
