Learn Where Travel Technology is Heading at ‘Travel 2.0 @ #NYTF’

The 2014 New York Travel Festival will bring startups and technology experts together for “Travel 2.0 @ #NYTF” on Saturday, April 26, at Bohemian National Hall, 321 E 73rd St.
 
NEW YORK - April 19, 2014 - PRLog -- New York, N.Y. - From apps to third-party search engines, travel startups keep changing where the travel industry is, technically, heading. The 2014 New York Travel Festival will bring startups and technology experts together for “Travel 2.0 @ #NYTF” on Saturday, April 26, at Bohemian National Hall, 321 E 73rd St, in New York City.

“Travel 2.0 @ #NYTF” will present a daylong schedule of informative presentations and panel discussions to explore what’s next for this industry and who is helping to virtually lead the way.

Planned talks include:

-  A “Google Travel Presentation,” with Ting Ting Yan, a marketing strategist at Google, and Sarah Robinson, an account manager, Travel, also with Google

- “Innovation in Travel – Focus on Mobile and Social,” an in-depth discussion about the transformative power of mobile and social in the travel industry.

- “Investment and Fundraising in Travel,” about what travel investors are looking for, and how to raise money as a travel entrepreneur.

- “Big Data in Travel,” on opportunities and challenges of harnessing big data in our industry.

- “The Sharing Economy and Travel,” which focuses on how it is also changing our industry.

In addition to talks, a select group of travel startups will exhibit their products and services to NY Trav Fest attendees in the library section of Bohemian National Hall. A current list of participating companies are available on our website (http://nytravfest.com/travel-2-0-at-nytf/).

“Travel 2.0 @ #NYTF” is held in partnership between NY Trav Fest and Travel 2.0, New York City’s premiere networking group for travel startups, innovation and technology. It is open to all NY Trav Fest ticketholders.

Other NY Trav Fest events include a variety of sessions led by top experts from consumer and industry travel sectors.

Consumer Weekend: $45
Industry Weekend: $100
Admission to only the Sunday, April 27 portion of NY Trav Fest (at Hostelling International – New York) with lunch is at $15.
