World Turtle Day - Turtle Conservation
Right now the company’s online campaign effort ‘World Turtle Day Contest’ is focussed on 23rd May, 2014, World Turtle Day. This day is dedicated to the cause of these marvellous reptiles who have inhabited this planet for the last 200 million years. This is not only endangering this species but is affecting ecological balance adversely.
Turtle Safari is an all expenses paid trip organized by the company to highlight World Turtle Day. To make the event exciting and memorable this safari would be in the form of a contest with the winners getting a chance to visit Kukrail Conservation Project on the banks of River Chambal. Winners would also be getting opportunities of visiting TSA laboratories, facilities and nest protection centres. The tour is guided by world renowned biologist and Disney Conservation Hero Award winner, Dr. Shailendra Singh.
The contest begins on Turtle’s official Facebook and Twitter pages from Monday 21st April, 2014 and will run simultaneously over radio, and in stores. Contestants have to answer a simple question posted on the page and lucky winners get to go on the Turtle Safari, fully paid for by Turtle. Winners can also win Gift Vouchers from Turtle.
Customers can walk in to any of the brand’s retail outlets and may participate in the World Turtle Day contest. Defined as a symbol of strength, stability and wisdom, turtles are extremely active, outlive most things on this planet and almost always reach their goal. Turtle Limited is proud to share its name with this rare species and inheriting these qualities, we have created a complete range of apparels. We donate a part of every sale of Turtle merchandise to the preservation of this wonderful species.
Turtle derives its inspiration from this amphibian which is known for its stability, wisdom and strength. The company not only shares its name, but also the inherent qualities of this rare species.
