PRLog - April 18, 2014 - SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- The Sustainable Business Council (SBC) announces the fifty-five finalists for the Third Annual SBC Industry Achievement Awards to be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. PDT, at Lexus Santa Monica. The SBC, a non-profit organization which provides a professional networking and education forum for Southern California businesses and individuals working with sustainable products, services, and processes, hosts the annual awards event to recognize industry environmental leaders from the region.

A highlight of the event will include special remarks from industry luminaries including James E. Lentz, Chief Executive Officer of Toyota, North America Region and SBC’s Lifetime Business Achievement Award Recipient.
The awards reception and ceremony salutes and spotlights Southern California companies working daily to support the mission of SBC: to improve operating efficiencies, profit margins, and staff productivity, while lowering the ecological impact of its products and services. In addition to company efforts, there are award categories carved out for outstanding individuals and projects. The Third Annual SBC Industry Achievement Awards marks the addition of the Inaugural SBC Industry Achievement Award for idea phase, pre-start ventures through businesses that have generated revenue of up to $100,000.
