Tripod Foundation Congratulates 2014 Scholarship Awardee

WASHINGTON - April 18, 2014 - PRLog -- April 16, 2014

         The Tripod Foundation would like to announce our 2014 scholarship recipient Chindinma Adiele of Washington DC. Chindinma attends Benjamin Banneker Academic High School in Washington DC and will be graduating this June.

         Chindinma is active in her community participating in Volleyball and Softball all while volunteering at a home for veterans of our armed forces. She has been accepted to several universities including Temple University, George Mason University, and Hampton University.

         Chindinma embodies the very spirit of the Tripod Foundation which is why she was chosen as the sole scholarship recipient this year.

Mr. Lloyd Freeman (former Chairman) and Mr. Floyd Mitchell (current Chairman) founded the Tripod Foundation Inc. (formerly the Phi Sigma Pi, Alpha Tau Chapter Endowment Fund, Inc.) on February 20, 2007.  The purpose of the organization is to provide scholarships and other types of financial aid to worthy individuals.  It also seeks to maintain and aid social, charitable, educational, and other activities serving the community.  The foundation also assists community groups and individuals in educational and charitable activities.
