Upcoming Movie of the week: 2 States

MUMBAI, India - April 18, 2014 - PRLog -- “2 States” is not only the most hyped movie among all the soon to be released films on April 18 but it has also started becoming source of inspiration.

It is brewing 2 states everywhere, first the movie has engulfed the author Chetan Bhagat on whose book of the same name this movie is based, so much that now he is also planning to write a sequel to his book. The 39-year old celebrated author while speaking during the launch of the new cover of 2 States in Mumbai said, “I really consider doing a sequel to 2 States but I am not doing it right now”.

Interestingly the author has never done a sequel to any of his books before but still he believes that with this one he can go for it. He continued saying the book will have the tagline 'Getting married was the easy part'. With this it seems that the new book will supposedly deal with the post marriage issues in cross- cultural marraiges.

IIM Ahmedabad students have also been shot on camera as they danced to the tunes of Offo and Locha-e-ulfat before the release of 2 States. Moreover Arjun Kapoor also added that he has still not read the book 2 States and have largely presented his personal interpretation of Krish Malhotra in the film while Alia Bhatt secretly dreamt of playing the character of Ananya from 2 States when she had read this book long time back.

With so much build up and gossips everybody is expecting a grand opening for the film on the coming weekend. But other than “2 States” few more new movies are releasing on Friday include Dekh Tamasha Dekh, Transcendence and Tarzan 3D. For different audience these movies are all set to give exclusive experience other than the regular rom-com entertainment.

Other Exclusive movies on the weekend

All the weekend hype may be around the movie “2 States” but three more interesting movies are releasing on this Friday- “Dekh Tamasha Dekh,” “Transcendence” and “Tarzan 3D”

“Dekh Tamasha Dekh” is yet another but still unique political satire in the season of General Elections. The film is directed by Feroz Abbas Khan famous for critically appreciated movie “Gandhi, My Father”. It tells the story of a dispute over a dead body’s religious identity in a town setting. The films is all set to give its viewers both hilarious and revolting experiences on corruption, bureaucracy and politics, highlighting general illogicality of aggression and religious obsessions.

Transcendence is a science fiction mystery thriller made by the renowned cinematographer Wally Pfister, who is joining films as a Director now. Film is interesting and hyped both due its star cast and subject that has the eloquent Johnny Depp as an artificial intelligence researcher with Rebecca Hall and Morgan Freeman. In the movie, Dr. Will Caster gets shot with radioactively-tainted bullets due to opposition on his new research but that doesn’t stop him rather his mind is downloaded into a computer to try and save his life. Soon Caster's goal to obtain knowledge changes into acquiring power and he becomes inexorable. Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas are the executive producers for the film.

Tarzan 3D is a German and French animated film with motion capture technology and is one more adaptation amongst many of the famed story of Tarzan from the classic book “Tarzan of the Apes” by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The 3D version is made by German producer Reinhard Klooss. The story revolves around Tarzan and Jane Porter who have to fight a mercenary army sent by the company Greystoke Energies. The greedy CEO took over the company after Tarzan's parents died in a plane crash.
