Something Blue Boutique and Sienna Cole Bridal
Sienna Cole Bridal, a bridal boutique located in Forest Lake since 2010, has partnered with new business Something Blue Boutique and moved downtown to 91 North Lake. “As retailers of green, ethical products, both businesses complement each other and bring upscale, eco friendly merchandise to downtown”.
The new co-op partnership carries both bridal and non-bridal ready to wear fashion, accessories and party dresses including several exclusive lines not available elsewhere.
Sienna Cole Bridal is the first bridal shop to introduce "USA made eco-friendly"
Forgoing the factory made single-use bleached wedding gown, Sienna Cole offers an economic and environmentally responsible alternative. The exclusive locally made Sienna Cole Collection features made to order designs in eco-friendly organic fabrics such as silk, organic cotton and hemp.
Further inventory includes restyled wedding gowns using a mix of vintage elements, organic fabrics and embellishments to create new couture creations . All one of a kind designs are produced using local production, and fair trade labor guidelines.
The salon also features a selection of jewelry, beaded sashes, veils and other accessories as well as in-house alterations.
“Whether the bride chooses a readymade design from the Sienna Cole Collection, restyles moms’ vintage gown or creates her own custom creation, each gown is designed from beginning to end to benefit our earth as well as our brides.” Said Lisa Ramlet, Owner and Designer of Sienna Cole Bridal.
Something Blue Boutique is a new business owned and operated by Kristy Parker and Natasha Feddick. They have combined their experience in the fashion industry and event planning to their new business in which shoppers can find unique, well priced ethical wares.
As graduates of Fashion Merchandising and Marketing respectively, Parker and Feddick are excited for the launch of their first boutique. Parker says “Fashion has always been my passion and now my dreams of opening a boutique and sharing my style with people are coming true, we have already received really positive feedback within the community.”
The Something Blue fashion and jewelry niche showcases a unique collection that appeals to those shoppers looking for that one of a kind home decor or special gift. The clothing exudes a comfortable bohemian flair, with touches of playful details. Dresses often feature romantic touches such as layers of lace, ruffles and unexpected details. One of a kind pieces, tops and skirts, scarfs, unique home décor and vintage chic jewelry pieces adorn the Something Blue showroom. Eco fair trade special occasion fashion dresses and separates not found elsewhere are available exclusively at Something Blue Boutique.
Inventory will update seasonally to feature fresh designs for a continuous unique shopping experience at each visit. The new store will bring a new sense of style to Forest Lake and the surrounding communities.
All the owners hope the opening of their new combined venture lead other businesses to the downtown Forest Lake community and do its part to help the local economy flourish again. “It’s such a beautiful area filled with community events like the farmers market, arts in the park and the fourth of july celebrations, it’s just screaming for a new identity. Downtown Forest Lake has so much potential to become a shopping and lunching community that could mirror the likes of Stillwater or White Bear Lake.”
