Wally Carson, Candidate for MD Delegate District 9A, Endorsed by Columbia Democratic Club

COLUMBIA, Md. - April 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Attorney, Walter “Wally” Carson, candidate for House of Delegates, Maryland, District 9A, addressed the Columbia Democratic Club at their endorsement meeting held on Wednesday, April 9th at Ridgley’s Run Community Center in Jessup, MD.  One of several candidates in attendance, Wally Carson, along with Ward Morrow, another Democratic candidate seeking the Maryland, District 9A seat, won the endorsement of the club.

During his brief address, Carson reminded the club that District 9A had been in Republican hands for many years and that their endorsement could help to give District 9A residents an active voice in the State House.

“I believe I am well qualified to receive your endorsement,” he assured them. “I am a lawyer by education, training, and experience; I have extensive governmental experience at the local, state and federal levels. I know and understand how it works. Additionally, I have been actively involved in my community. Over time, I’ve also acquired a certain life experience that uniquely equips me to represent the interests of District 9A.”

Carson is committed to preserving the unique environment of rural Western Howard and Southern Carroll Counties. He is also running to protect citizens’ rights guaranteed by the Maryland Constitution as well as to advocate for those less fortunate who live in his district.

In addition to endorsing the District 9A Democratic candidates for MD House of Delegates, the Columbia Democratic Club also endorsed the following MD General Assembly candidates: Dan Medinger MD District 9 (Senate); Tom Coale, MD District 9B (Delegate); Ed Kasemeyer, MD Distirct 12 (Senate); Terri Hill and Clarence Lam, MD District 12.(Delegate); Guy Guzzone, MD District 13 (Senate); and Vanessa Atterbeary, Shane Pendergrass, and Frank Turner, MD District 13 (Delegate).
