Pro Basketball Tryout in Dallas Texas!

DALLAS - April 16, 2014 - PRLog -- ROCKWALL, TEXAS, Bridge to the Pros is conducting an International Professional Mens Basketball Tryout in the Dallas, Texas area on June 27-29, 2014. Bridge to the Pros is implementing new technology never used before at any showcase, exposure camp, tournament or tryout that completely breaks down the statistics for players with play - by - play clips!

Bridge to the Pros tryouts are formatted in three 8 hour day sessions. Day one consists of Elite Basketball Drills training, Elite Strength & Conditioning training, and Elite Nutrition training. Each player can take the Current Condition Test (CCT) that will accurately determine a players current condition including exact height, weight, wing span, and vertical. One minute interviews will also be done for each player as overseas coaches are asking to capture the character and demeanor of athletes.

Wayne Slappy is the Bridge to the Pros lead trainer. Slappy has trained many NBA players ( including Michael Jordan before his NBA days ) and is a highly sought after trainer worldwide. Joe "Jelly Bean" Bryant ( father of NBA star Kobe Bryant ) will be working side by side with Slappy giving players meaningful and real elite drill instruction. Joe played in the NBA, Italy, then coached in China, Japan, and the WNBA here in the USA.

Steve Campbell, certified Strength and Conditioning trainer, will be giving players elite training in strength and conditioning. Steve has trained many NBA players with a list too long to mention here. Steve has also specialized in Pre - NBA draft training with many current and former NBA players.

Elaine Hastings is a certified Dietician, Nutritionist, and certified Sports Nutritionists. Elaine has worked with many athletes including Olympic gold medalists and NFL, NBA, NLB, NHL, LPGA and NCAA athletes for over 20 years.

Days two and three consists solid five on five games on two courts running at the same time. Each court will be filmed and live streamed allowing coaches to watch in real time. The games are saved online at the same time and can be viewed forever.

Then the games are statistically broken down online ( this takes 24-36 hours ) for each individual player. Play - by - play video clips for each player will be available for every play the player did in all the games they played in during the tryout. A coach or scout can review each player individually and watch detailed player video clips. For example, a coach or scout can watch the game film and find a player they may have interest in. Then that coach or scout can go online, click on that players name, and see every offensive rebound clip, defensive rebound clip, steals, assists, blocks, shots made/missed etc etc...

The overall detailed information about the players trying out available to coaches, scouts, and teams worldwide is unprecedented. A coach or scout can see a live interview with the player to see the character and demeanor of the player, complete player history, live game links, complete statistical breakdown, play by play video clip breakdown for evaluation, and the Current Condition Test to know the players exact condition!

100 FIBA teams / clubs are participating in each Bridge to the Pros tryout. Bridge to the Pros conducts four mens and one women tryouts across the USA. There are 85 overseas jobs up for grab at each tryout. There will be NBA, NBA D-League team representatives, coaches, scouts, etc at the tryouts.

Registrations are on a first come - first serve basis. Bridge to the Pros is equipped to provide 200 players with this opportunity. The first 200 that sign up will be processed and registration will close. No walk ins will be allowed. Every player must register before the tryout. All registrations for each tryout will automatically close two weeks before the scheduled tryouts. It is important players register well in advance to hold a spot.
