The Lizardo, which features Wilkinson Continuous Line™ design, is powered by a GM 3800 260 hp Series III supercharged engine, with 6-speed manual transmission.
The first gas engine to attain SULEV (Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle) industry certification, the GM 3800 Series III engine is widely considered to be one of the best pushrod engines in the world. In fact, the engine has appeared multiple times on Ward's list of Top 10 Engines in the World.
The mid-engine Lizardo is built on a modified GM GT-style chassis, which was selected for its congruity with the Lizardo hand-formed fiberglass paneled body. The chief design engineer hired to create the form of the Lizardo is Dan Wilkinson, a forty-year motorsports design veteran and one of America's top fiberglass practitioners.
Says Lazzaro Leal, Lizardo's Chief Engineer, "the 3.8L Series III V6 (L32) engine is a strong, cast-iron block engine, yet it weighs only slightly more than GM's current all-aluminum High Feature V6."
The Lizardo is standard equipped with Recaro racing bucket seats, Koni High-Performance Shocks and Struts, SiriusXM Satellite Radio System (U.S. and Canada only), and JBL's 60th Anniversary GTi 660 Special Edition Professional Speaker System (speakers alone are valued at $2,000).
The exterior colors of the Lizardo are offered in either Tuscan Gold or Ice™, and its interior color is black.
The hand assembled Lizardo is priced at $49,995.
Distribution is factory direct. Worldwide delivery services vary by country.
