Tennor, whose many film and television credits include Don't Mess with the Zohan, The First Wives Club, and TVs Friends, says she never wanted to decide between working in a restaurant and working in the movies - so she didn't.

"So many actors feel imprisoned by their day jobs, thinking that as soon as they can they'll quit - maybe even walk out in the middle of their shift! But I fell in love with mine and performed there the same way I'd perform in a play or a film and my customers loved me and wanted to help me succeed. When a lot of these Tv writer/producers I was waiting on discovered I was an actress they gave me a shot, not expecting me to be any good, but then I'd waltz in and nail it and built my resume that way. Then I took my love story - which was actually about being single in LA and finding pole dancing - and turned it into a solo show, which also propelled my career. Then I married my ex boss - and we opened two restaurants together. "

Acting-wise, Tennor has a major year ahead of her filmwise; she co-stars opposite Jack Black and James Marsden in the comedy D-Team, and also appears in Smothered, a horror film that unites the world's most famous horror movie stars.  Her latest project, the short film Cracked, is currently winning raves online.
