PRLog - April 16, 2014 - STRATFORD-UPON-AVON, U.K. -- Tudor World and Hathaways Tearooms in Stratford upon Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare, have united to launch a supper hosted by Shakespeare himself and in honour of his 450th birthday.
There has been much publicity for these evenings, including a letter from the Queen, however this is the first time the Shakespeare Supper will be open to members of the public to join.
This special evening will be taking place at the oak-beamed dining room of Hathaways, High Street, Stratford on Friday 25th April at 7.30pm. The evening includes a two course meal, wine, coffee and - of course - entertainment by Shakespeare himself. Representatives from the Stratford District Council, Shakespeare’
Janet and John Ford, owners of Tudor World said “Whilst there has been a Burn’s Night to celebrate the life and works of Robbie Burn’s, Scotland’s most famous poet for around 200 years, there has never been a Shakespeare Night to celebrate England’s most famous playwright and poet – until now. We felt that an evening anyone can join to mark his special birthday would be great fun”.
