April 16, 2014 - PRLog -- The BenchOne Biogas a laboratory scale bench top analyzer for biogas. It measures CO2 as well as CH4 in real-time. Just connect your vessel or fermenter to the inlet of this biogas analyzer, connect the off gas line and start the measurement. In the BenchOne Biogas there are two IR sensors (one for methane and one for carbon dioxide) and also one pressure sensor to compensate pressure fluctuations automatically. This reliable device makes the gas analysis for the biogas process affordable and easy. The measuring range of this biogas analyzer is 0-50% Vol.% for CO2 and 0-100 Vol.% for CH4 and it has no interferences neither to humidity nor to hydrogen sulphide. Due to the internal heated piping, made of stainless steel, there will not be a corrosion inside the apparatus. You can see the actuals measured values at the displays. The BenchOne Biogas can be connect via analog outputs as well as via RS232 and RS485 for example to a process control system or an analysis and monitoring software for bioprocesses like the new BlueVis. As an active sampling with a pump is not needed, the BenchOne Biogas offers an independent of flow and reliable gas analysis, especially for fermenters with low gas volume. You do not need a minimum gas flow and the gas also does not need special treatment (no drying needed).
