LionBlood Clothing Company’s Co-Owner Nate Burleson Issues Statement

DETROIT - April 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Newly signed Cleveland Browns wide receiver, and LionBlood Co-Owner/CEO, Nate Burleson issues statement responding to fans who are inquiring about what is next for the Detroit based brand, now that Burleson is no longer with the Detroit Lions:

“We will continue to grow LionBlood as a homegrown Detroit, Michigan Company, even though I am not playing for the Detroit Lions. I will be eternally grateful to the family, friends and fans that helped me launch my brand in the same city I played in.

Although the brand is proudly made in Detroit, in the larger scope of things, we are also made in the USA. When we created LionBlood, it was to embody the strength and power that runs through the hearts of all those facing adversity. Whether they live in Detroit, Cleveland, New York, Los Angeles, LionBlood is meant to encourage people to keep moving forward. LionBlood was always intended to be more than a brand, or city; it is a Lifestyle!

I myself can speak to this first hand after leaving a city and team that I grew to call home and family, and almost facing my contemplating retirement sooner than expected. Now, with my new home in Cleveland, I want to take what inspired me to start LionBlood and share it with my new fans not just in Cleveland, but all around the world.

I will never replace Detroit fans in my heart. They motivated me to take my first steps into my fashion journey, and that inspiration is something you can never forget. As a Leo who loves fashion, it was a dream of mine to create a line that would empower those who wear it to wake up and conquer the jungle they live in!

Thank you to Detroit, Michigan, and the LionBlood Clothing Company team. Because of you we will have an even bigger year!
