"It asks 'why?', 'what will this lead to?', and 'is there a better way?' in a variety of forms which appeal to the mass market reader. In this time when there is so much pressure for mindless conformity, encouraging people to think is more critical than ever. This is what distinguishes Speculative Fiction from all other forms of popular literature." ABOUT THE WRITTEN WYRD Launched in January 1, 2011, The Written Wyrd is a Washington State nonprofit trust founded to address the problems faced by self-published and small press authors of speculative fiction through a program of technical support and publicity. These efforts are funded through sales of books, and by donations and grants. ABOUT ROBERT A.
