Pariksha Labs Launches “FilmiFilmy– Your Favorite Bollywood Songs In Video”for the Wind

GURGAON, India - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- FilmiFilmy brings over thirty two thousand (32,000) hindi film songs in video clips on a single easy to use mobile app making it possible for consumers to find and watch their favorite film songs when they want to. “Most Indians have grown up on film songs and they remain an integral part of our lives. Filmi Filmy, for the Windows phone users is priced at a mere Rs 110. The app aggregates over 32k songs over the last 50 years. It not only allows the user to search (by song name, film, period) but also create playlists and share their playlists with their friends and family via an in-app-purchase (IAP). “We want users to select songs by moods, themes, singers, films, actors, any combinations and share their selections with their friends and families. All their selections will be stored on our servers and available from any device on-demand. Consumers can access these features and the convenience of aggregation of songs for a very small payment” – Mr. Jha indicated.

FilmiFIlmy is also available on the Apple AppStore, where it became the top new music app for India and the top music app for Pakistan within 3 weeks of launch. The company indicates that the app will also be available for Android Play Store soon. The company is also looking to launch similar apps around music for all other Indian languages and even western music. The company is promoting the app with the tag line “why listen when you can watch”.

Paiksha claimed that their first app “inTube” has over 25,000 downloads from over 75 countries and is used by the Indian diaspora to catch up on free movies. Its Indian news app “inNews” is also seeing strong traction across Indian diaspora. And Filmi Filmy, itself has over 33,000 downloads on the iOS platform.Speaking on this, Mr. Jha said - “This year, we will continue to invest in making the apps better and market them aggressively.
