Drew Allen releases details of being "Shot Down"

SAN FRANCISCO - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- If you have yet to hear a song of DREW ALLEN’s, you are indeed missing out. The construction of melody laced with cool cadence and a message sure to make you examine your relationship with God, have all become traits of DREW’s signature sound.          His newest single "Shoot Me Down" candidly describes the overwhelming feeling of wanting to do what feels good, but knowing and embracing the unseen benefits of doing what is right. As DREW weaves a tale of being seduced by a woman that most men wouldn't deny, he also lets us know that he calmly declines her advances- offering her "truth" instead of taking advantage. Lyrics like "she want a love she feels, but that love ain't real", cause you to ponder about what real love is and reflect on why DREW ALLEN chooses it over what comes so easily.

SHOOT ME DOWN will be just one of the songs DREW ALLEN will be introducing to new fans at the “BEYOND ME” tour. The nine city tour is set to begin in late May featuring DREW ALLEN and other artists presenting faith based music; with a few of the first stops being in San Francisco, Sacramento, New York and Miami.

SHOOT ME DOWN is set to be released via online download May 2014.
