TVS Global Media Adds Kid Hybrid to it's All Star IWA Wrestling Roster For New TV Series

IWA Wrestling, founded in 1975 by the TVS Television Network as the first national wrestling company, is returning with new shows and new wrestlers.

CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. - April 14, 2014 - PRLog -- The International Wrestling Association has named Orlando Christopher "Kid Hybrid" as a featured performer in their upcoming TV series.

Kid Hybrid began training in the first half of 2006 under Truth Martini and The House of Truth and American Kickboxer of the R.A.A.G.E. Dojo. He made his debut for some of the top independent companies in the United States later that year working for IWA-Midsouth, AAW, Shimmer, and Cleveland All Pro Wrestling.

Back on the home-front in Detroit he began wrestling for XICW and several other smaller local promotions. He would go on to capture several Light-Heavyweight singles titles all within his first year. Not too bad for someone who wasn't even an adult yet.

In the beginning, he was known mostly for his high flying and quick paced style but has since toned things down and become one of the most versatile wrestlers in the world, relying on a more technical and brawling based attack while still having the ability to bust out a fancy move every now and again. He would go on to get further instruction while doing seminars with Les Thatcher, Al Snow, and AJ Styles.

While he was on dvds, magazines, and tv since his youth, it's his matches in recent years that have gained him such high praise on the indy circuit. Having stopped in at almost every promotion in the Midwest at some point or another, he now travels through Canada and parts of the south as well. Notable names he's wrestled include Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Petey Williams, Shark Boy, Zach Gowen, Zema Ion, Carlito, and WWE Hall of Famer "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan.

Currently, Kid Hybrid is the American Sky Dojo TV Champion.

Orlando also dabbles in the world of stand-up comedy, music, and film-making but admits wrestling is his one true passion. Always a student of the game, he is finally ready to make it on the National level.

"We are extremely excited to have Kid Hybrid as one of the new IWA superstar wrestlers," said IWA Commissioner Rodd Stowell. "Kid Hybid" epitomizes what we are looking for in a wrester. Naatural strength, quickness, and athletic ability."
