While there are different views about Waldorf graduates especially when compared with more or less "traditional" schools, it is important to note that Bright Water School is not one to be left behind. In fact, eight graduate graduating students are able to go to a wide range of public and private high schools with ease. It is a testament that the training and preparation from a Waldorf institution is indeed a competent ground for molding young learners into abled students regardless of the shift of their environments.

For students who are currently enrolled in Bright Water School, they experience a community of caring teachers and equally caring peers. This is instilled upon every student as a caring attitude is carried on even as the child grows older. Students are also introduced in a balanced curriculum where their practical skills and interaction with their environment is balance with academics and world languages. A holistic approach is the goal of a Waldorf institution such as Bright Water School and this is evidently seen in their offered programs. Students are also taken care of by a faculty that closely monitors their progress. They are welcomed into a school where teachers help students build character, responsibility, interest to learn and independent learning. Teachers also teach students to be compassionate towards their co-students and their teachers.

Extended day programs and athletics are also offered at Bright Water School because as a Waldorf institution, it believes that students should not only have the aptitude for learner, but also the same aptitude for extracurricular activities. This is where they form friendships, camaraderie and learn how it is to be a team player in the face of loss.
