Follow on Google News | National Touring Theatre Company to Appear at San Leandro LibraryThe national touring theatrical troupe Act!vated Story Theatre will arrive to “Act!vate” multicultural folktales at the San Leandro Library, 300 Estudillo, on Wednesday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m.
By: Act!vated Story Theatre Kids are invited to learn parts to perform on stage as “guest stars” at the library performance. To get a part in the show, kids age 6 and up must attend the free pre-performance theatre workshop which begins at 6:30. Participation is limited to 12 children, and no experience is necessary. The performance itself is open to everyone. Act!vated Story Theatre productions are high-energy dramatizations of folktales. They don’t just tell stories, they “Act!vate” Act!vated Story Theatre was founded in San Francisco in 1988 by Dennis and Kimberly Goza. The professional touring troupe has performed in 45 states plus Washington, DC and Japan. The troupe has performed many times in past years at the San Leandro Library.
