Author Joyce Selander, the first woman in the world to physically trade financial futures in the pits of the Chicago Board of Trade, will sign copies of her memoir, “Joyce, Queen of the Mountain,” from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 26. This insider’s look reveals her daily hand-to-hand combat in the world’s largest money pit, recalling episodes of murder, mayhem, drugs and traders that lost and made their millions! She has been featured in the Chicago Tribune and Chicago society pages and has ties to many current and former Lake Geneva residents.
Guests are also invited to commemorate their weekend in Lake Geneva with personalized Lake Geneva wine glasses by local artist Gabby Jensen and complimentary pictures in the Ideal Impressions Photography Photo Booth from 12-3 p.m. on Saturday.
Early bird specials and complimentary chair massages, courtesy of The Therapeutic Touch, begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 27th, and Sunday afternoon features demonstrations and samples of Thymes new bath and body fragrances, as well as a gift with purchase offer.
