Creative Works designs battle laser tag arena for indoor go-kart facility
PRLog - Apr. 11, 2014 - Miramar Speed Circuit in San Diego, California has just added a 5,000 square foot multi-level laser tag arena designed by Creative Works (www.theWOWeffect.com).  In business since 2003, Jim Richardson, owner of Miramar Speed Circuit, wanted to add a Creative Works’ laser tag arena to diversify and enhance his indoor go-kart facility.  In Miramar's custom battle arena, players are transported to a futuristic city complex devastated by battle.  Guests suit up with Delta Strike equipment and head out in to the dark and shattered city.  Complete with color-changing props, detailed murals, and a large 3D focal piece, the arena completely immerses players in another world.

Players have been given the mission to coordinate the movements of their team in order to locate and blast the opposing team's base.  Piles of faux rubble provide cover from enemy sight and shelter from the elements.  Huge battle-ready tanks approach as players coordinate with their teams to end the battle and save the city.  Fighter planes fly over the city and the sky is riddled with explosions.  Following a maze of fallen walls and winding through cathedral archways, teams can experience this unique and thrilling adventure again and again.  Once patrons exit the laser tag attraction, they have the opportunity to enjoy many of the other games available at the facility.

Jim Richardson, owner of Miramar Speed Circuit, started working with Creative Works in February of 2013.  Because of construction challenges and other external issues that arose, it took over a year to get the arena on-site.  Despite the conflict and adversity, Richardson remained strong and continued to plug away - one road block at a time.  "Sometimes we have projects that have many challenges out of our control," commented Roxanna Gressel, Director of Project Management for Creative Works.  "By eliminating communication barriers, hiring the right consultants, and maintaining transparency in the problem solving stage, we worked with Jim's team to handle the issues as they came."

Although it was not an ideal timeline, patience paid off in the end.  "I have rarely seen a team put in as many quality hours as the on-site install team from Creative Works," commented Jim Richardson.  "The quality is fantastic, and the workmanship is truly amazing."  Miramar's arena had a unique futuristic spin unlike any arena Creative Works has built.  The Miramar arena is dynamic in layout with breathtaking visual black light murals of a radiating city skylines and unique brick wall outcroppings.

Miramar Speed Circuit offers its guests a 1/4 mile 1,500 ft) technical asphalt racetrack. This track is considered to be one of the finest indoor tracks in the United States.  This facility also features a full service cafe and arcade for fun pre-game entertainment.  Guests can have corporate events, birthday parties, custom events, and more with Miramar's affordably priced party packages.
