By: Tangent Medical Finalists will be announced and featured on Tangent Medical’s website during National Nurses Week, and beginning the week of May 12, one of five winners will be announced each day throughout that week. Nominators and winners will both be rewarded with the opportunity to earn hundreds of dollars in educational prizes. Nominators are asked to submit individuals who have been an inspiration in any or all of these areas: · Improving Patient Outcomes in IV Therapy · Improving the Overall Quality of Patient Care · Improving Patient Comfort & Satisfaction · Improving Patient Safety “A lot is asked of nurses in terms of ensuring patient safety, comfort, satisfaction and setting patients up for a positive outcome, especially when it comes to IV therapy. And that is just one aspect of the job,” said Elyse Kemmerer White, Tangent Medical Director of Marketing. “We had an overwhelming response last year with numerous touching stories that we proudly shared in our blog. The Nurses’ Choice Awards is a small way to bring awareness to the many nurses across our country who are going above and beyond for their patients every day.
