ACR, Inc. Earns Top Restoration Industry Award

WHEELING, Ill. - April 11, 2014 - PRLog -- ACR, Inc. was announced as the winner of the 2014 Phoenix Award for Innovation in Restoration at the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) annual conference held in Orlando, FL. This prestigious award acknowledges "conspicuously high achievement in the area of disaster restoration," with emphasis on innovative techniques and delivery of superior outcome and value. The RIA's Phoenix Award is open to restoration contractors worldwide.

The restoration project that has won ACR the Phoenix Award was the recovery of a water-damaged gymnasium floor at a junior high school in Lake County, IL. Gym floors that warp and buckle as a result of water damage are often torn out and replaced at costs for a full floor in excess of $240,000 and project spans of several months. ACR's innovative and effective restorative drying method dried the floor in-place at a financial savings of 80% and operational continuity savings of over 90%.
