Greenleaf Book Group Helps Plant Almost 8,000 Trees in 2013

AUSTIN, Texas - April 11, 2014 - PRLog -- In honor of Earth Day (April 22, 2014), Greenleaf Book Group is proud to acknowledge its continued commitment to practicing environmental  responsibility. In 2013 alone, Greenleaf contributed 7,987 trees to the Arbor Day Foundation as part of the Tree Neutral program. Tree Neutral supports American forests by replacing every tree used for printing books with a new tree purchased by funds contributed through program participants. Since partnering with Tree Neutral in 2007, Greenleaf Book Group contributions have replaced almost 50,000 trees.

In addition to its regular contributions through the Tree Neutral program, in 2013, Greenleaf made an additional holiday contribution of 2,500 trees to the Arbor Day Foundation on behalf of its clients and vendors. While all contributions are meaningful, this holiday donation was especially significant for Greenleaf as these trees went towards the Lost Pines Recovery Campaign in Bastrop, TX, just a few miles outside of Austin, TX, where the Greenleaf offices are located.

Greenleaf is optimistic that 2014 will bring even more contributions to the Arbor Day Foundation. In Q1 alone, Greenleaf helped to plant 2,632 trees across the nation.
